The Potato Growers of Alberta (PGA) is a not for profit potato grower organization that aims to increase the success of the potato growing industry in Alberta through education and extension, promotion, and research. The PGA continues to be the voice of the potato industry in Alberta today. Founded in 1966 by potato farmers and industry reps, we continually strive to enhance unity through member involvement and engagement. One of the many goals of the PGA is to foster effective relationships with Government and other agencies to advocate the best interest of the potato industry. Our industry is based on three sectors, Process, Seed and Table potatoes.
