BSSi - You can’t improve what you’re not measuring!  Bluefield Seeding Solutions Inc. (BSSi) is an ag-tech company founded in 2018 to commercialize its new Press Wheels. In 2023, BSSi released its Seed Sensing Technology (SST) that further enables potato farmers to improve seed placement and reduce inputs per plant.  Independent 2022 field trials on a farm using two of the same model planters, one with SST and one without, showed an average increased value of $309/ac for processing graded out and $679/ac for table grade out.  BSSi’s mission is to help potato farmers improve their farm’s economics and sustainability.
